Advanced Massage Therapeutics has been serving the San Diego, CA East County area since 1988 with professional therapeutic massages.  We specialize in pain management (back, neck, headaches, TMJD), relaxation and wellness.

Angela Okunor, CMT, HHP  is a California State Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and has over 1000 hours of education for a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP). She has been working in the world of massage for over 8 years. She graduated from Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College (an internationally accredited school) in Scottsdale, AZ. She relocated to London, England where she practiced massage for 3 years; this gave her the opportunity to travel to several other countries. Traveling has become one of her passions outside of body work and natural healing. She is also currently working towards her clinical nutritionist certification.

Angela uses a combination of specific deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and relaxation techniques. Her goal for each client she massages is to address their specific needs in order to reduce muscle ache and pain, improve mobility caused from tension, and allow for a sense of well being throughout the body.

Jen Poe, CMT is a California State Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and has been caring for people for the last 16 years.  She started out in the psychiatric health care field, moved on to be a Medical Assistant and worked in family practice medicine for 6 years.  She realized at that time how much caring for and making others feel better rewarded her. This was her motivation to start a massage career. She has been in the practice of massage for over 10 years.  She started with chiropractic care and then opened her own business. She specializes in deep tissue treatments, especially in the upper shoulder and neck areas. Jen looks forward to getting to know and take care of you. 

Sue Koebel, RN, NMT has over 24 years as a Massage Therapist, specializing in hand, arm and shoulder issues (carpal tunnel, tendonitis, rotator cuff, etc.).  Sue uses her certification and training in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) to relieve chronic conditions and rehabilitate injuries. She is also a California State Certified massage therapist (CMT).  NOTE: Sue is working from February to July 2010.  She will be available every other Mon-Tues-Weds. Kristi Ogden, H.H.P. is a Nationally Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (more than 1000 of education) who graduated from the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego, CA. She is also a California State Certified massage therapist (CMT). She was a computer professional in the corporate world and has made a career change to massage therapy. (Doesn't regret one day!) She is the owner of Advanced Massage Therapeutics - following her passion to help others achieve optimal health and live a pain free life. She specializes in being a bodyworker experienced in physically therapeutic and energetic modalities for a “wholistic” experience. Her specialty is low back, hips, and shoulders. Kristi is a Reiki Master in Karuna and Usui modalities.
